Sunil Soares is the founder of Information Asset. Prior to this role, Sunil was the Director of Information Governance at IBM. Sunil has worked with more than a hundred clients across six continents and multiple industries including banking, insurance, life sciences, retail, telecommunications, manufacturing, oil and gas, healthcare and government.
Sunil is the author of eight books on Data Governance and Enterprise Data Management including The IBM Data Governance Unified Process, Selling Information Governance to the Business, Big Data Governance, The Chief Data Officer Handbook for Data Governance, Data Governance Guide for BCBS 239 and DFAST Compliance and Data Sovereignty and Enterprise Data Management.
Prior to joining IBM, Sunil consulted with major financial institutions at the Financial Services Strategy Consulting Practice of Booz Allen & Hamilton in New York. Sunil lives in New Jersey and holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Chris Lokos leads the Delivery and Operations organizations at Information Asset. With over 25 years of consulting leadership experience, Chris is responsible for all customer and partner engagements of Services and Accelerators, identifying growth opportunities, and continuous improvement of business operations.
Prior to Information Asset, Chris was a senior principal at InfoTrellis, a provider of data management & analytics consulting services, a vice president of customer success & services at DMTI Spatial, a location intelligence company, and has held various senior leadership roles with global middleware and telecom management vendors.
Chris’ organizations exemplify a passion for partnering with customers and ensuring their success. Chris holds a Master of Business Administration from Queen’s University.
Erin Kimak is Information Asset’s Vice President of Human Resources. She is responsible for recruiting, company policies and employee relations.
Prior to joining Information Asset, Erin was a Senior Recruiter at CNI Recruiting and an Assistant Director of Financial Aid at Gibbs College.
Erin has a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and Organizational Development and is PHR certified.
Pamela Taylor is a Managing Director at Information Asset. In this role she focuses on providing support and guidance to leaders of organizations in the operationalization of Data Capabilities. Pam excels in developing and defining necessary standards and policies aligned to a Data Strategy. Pam is a strong advocate for Data and Information Stewardship; she believes that this foundational concept reinforces Enterprise Data and Information Governance.
Prior to this role, Pam was VP of Data Governance, Quality, and Management at TD Bank, where she was an integral part of the Office of the Chief Data Officer and aided in successful OCC and FRB examinations. Prior to joining the bank, Pam was the Chief Data Steward at Independence Blue Cross, a health insurance payor. Pam drove Enterprise Data Governance and the maturity of Corporate Reference Data.
Mrs. Taylor has 11+ years of experience in Data Governance with increasingly senior roles in the healthcare and financial industries. This experience includes evaluating governance, quality, and data management solutions at a program level as well as on an enterprise scope – with a focus on long term return on investment. Pam has previously served on expert panels at DAMA Chapter events and MDM & Governance Summits. Her core competencies include Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, Reference Data Management, Problem Resolution Management, Data Privacy and Security.
Pam is also an active member of DAMA International and the AVP of Membership for the Board of Directors of DAMA Philadelphia/Delaware Valley Chapter.
Mark Gallman is a principal at Information Asset. Prior to this role, Mark was director of financial systems and data governance at CDK Global, (formerly ADP Dealer Services) a division of a Fortune 500 company, specializing in integrated technology and digital marketing solutions to the automotive retail industry and adjacencies.
Partnering closely with leaders, Mark developed and directed the strategy for formalized data governance, master data management, and data quality across the organization.
Mark has over 20 years of global experience with large multinational software, manufacturing, and services companies.
